Imagine bringing together your team or special group together for a hands on workshop in a flower field. We offer large group sized events on our Charleston area flower farm.
Floral Arranging Workshop
We love to host groups to create one of a kind floral arrangements on our flower farm on Johns Island, SC.
We begin with a lesson on design and color theory. As an artist by trade, I love to mix my two loves of art and flowers. When in season, our class attendees can cut their own flowers for their arrangements.
Learn some of the basics on floral arranging like form and structure. We provide vases and you can choose from a classic glass jar to a larger ceramic compote.
Create a bouquet with the different flower types or elements. Elements include focal flowers, filler, foliage, line flowers and an element of sparkle or whimsy.

Think about choosing your focal flower first and then the other flowers to complement or contrast with your main flower.
You can also be very successful with a 3 ingredient selection. Sometimes simplicity is the perfect elegance when it comes to arranging. For example, you could do hydrangea, roses, and snapdragons. Filler, focal, and line!
What’s Included in your Private Event
We will provide the table and chairs and linens. All flowers and vessels will be included. The tools of the trade like floral mechanics and snips will be provided.

Please note: we are an alcohol free farm
We are a working flower farm on historic Johns Island. We are about halfway between Kiawah Island and downtown Charleston. Located at 3959 River Rd.
We recommend our guests wear closed toe shoes and potentially bring extra water and sun protection if needed. The farm is totally out doors with some shade structures. 
What type of group can we welcome
We can welcome group sizes from 4 people to 60+. While we do have public classes anyone can join, private events will have the flower farm reserved for just their guests.

Pricing for Private Events
Our pricing scale will depend on the size of flower vase you would like to use.
Level One: glass jar or mason jar base rate is $50 per person
Level Two: medium size ceramic compote starts at $65 per person
Level Three: large ceramic compote starts at $75 per person

Garden Party Themed Birthday
Imagine your friends surprising you with a private flower arranging class for your birthday. This group of girls always get together to do an activity for their friend groups birthdays. And this year they came to our flower farm to create something beautiful together.
