Watercolor Class in Charleston, SC
Enjoy a hands on watercolor class perfect for beginners or for someone with experience. For our on farm classes, we will start with a tour of our flower farm on Johns Island, SC. Our rain location is at Charleston's most delicious French bakery, Christophe's Macaron et Chocolat.
We will start our class with instruction from artist, Sarah. She has been painting since she was a little girl in her dad's studio, and she began watercolor painting about 10 years ago. Learn the basics of color theory and choosing your color palette.
As a class, we will practice one small painting together to go over color mixing and brush stroke techniques.
Walk the farm for inspiration, or choose from some pre-selected ideas to paint. Each person will create a card and envelope to take home with them, including all practice art work.
